Summary:
Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Supervisor will oversee quality operations within the Mobile Refurbishment process for refurbished mobile devices. This role is responsible for leading quality initiatives, managing inspection teams, supporting third-party repair vendors, and ensuring product quality standards are consistently met.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, HQ/factory teams, and customers to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee quality assurance activities for mobile refurbishment operations
- Monitor and improve third-party repair vendor quality performance
- Conduct weekly and monthly quality performance reporting
- Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Manage internal inspection teams and daily operational objectives
- Partner with staffing agencies to support hiring and performance management
- Develop and maintain quality inspection processes and procedures
- Create and update inspection checklists for new repair models
- Coordinate customer return investigations and shipment escalations
- Support onsite audits and validation of carrier-reported issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on corrective action responses
- Maintain customer communication regarding quality concerns and resolutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferredEquivalent quality certifications accepted (Six Sigma, ISO, etc.)
- Minimum 4 years of related experience
- 5–7 years of experience preferred
- Strong understanding of ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 standards
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office:Excel
- Word
- PowerPoint
- Experience supporting ISO 9000 certification audits preferred
- Experience conducting internal and third-party process audits
- Wireless industry experience is a strong plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Up to 20% domestic travel required
- Ability to lift and move equipment/materials up to 50 lbs

- High attention to detail and visual accuracy required
- Strong hand/finger dexterity for electronic component handling and repair
- Ability to work in both sedentary and active environments
- Exposure to electronic testing and repair equipment in a production setting
