Summary:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional HR support and making a meaningful impact on the employee experience? Our Shared Service Center serves as the first point of contact for HR-related workplace information for our North America employee population. In this role, you will provide administrative support to HR Centers of Excellence and offer guidance to employees on HR policies and programs through incoming calls and service tickets. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee information in our Human Capital Management system, ensuring process documentation is current and accessible on our HR Portal, and completing tasks within established Service Level Agreement standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to grow within a dynamic HR environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for employees, line managers, and HR management to address inquiries and issues across HR programs, policies, and systems, including benefits, employee relations, staffing, and compensation
- Provide general HR administrative support to HR Centers of Excellence and business partners
- Manage and update employee information within the Human Capital Management system
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including various HR metrics
- Assist with queries and projects related to the HCM and HR Portal
- Document all inquiries including phone calls, emails, and requests, and escalate complex cases to appropriate subject matter expert groups
- Meet defined SLA metrics for providing accurate, consistent, and timely responses to HR process, policy, and systems inquiries
- Assist in the continuous development and improvement of HR information and processes
- Support ad hoc projects and activities related to the HR department
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills, including timeliness of resolution and excellent follow-up
- Contact center experience with the ability to handle a high volume of inquiries professionally
- Learning agility with the ability to quickly adapt to new processes, systems, and policies
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Business process and data processing experience within ERP Human Capital Management systems, with Workday experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to exercise considerable tact and courtesy when interacting with employees and managers
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Ability to make independent decisions within established guidelines for day-to-day duties
- Knowledge of government regulations, professional best practices, and industry trends as they apply to HR functions preferred
Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of prior experience in HR administration, payroll, or business support preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred but not required
